About the Role:

The Future Students Event Support Officer supports the Major Events and Engagement Coordinator in the planning and execution of the University’s key strategic future student events, contributing to event experience and assisting prospective students to choose to further their studies at VU. 

This is a continuing full-time position at a HEP 4 classification and the salary range is, $ 67,947 - $ 72,101 plus superannuation contribution, working 36.75 hours per week.

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

  • Support the planning and execution of key recruitment events and expos, both physical and digital, including Open Day, The Melbourne Careers Expo, The VCE and Careers Expo, Victorian Careers Show, community events, Change of Preference expo and school expos and activities 
  • Coordinate logistics of external recruitment events
  • Conduct and collate findings from market research and competitor activity
  • Promote Victoria University to prospective students at events and expos, and provide support to Future

About You:

You will be confident in communicating to internal and external stakeholders, in both verbal and written forms, and have high attention to details. You will also be excited by the opportunity to manage logistics of events, including bump-in, on-the-day event coordination and bump-out, and will be required to attend minor events to speak to prospective students about studying at VU.
