Salary package: $103,636 - $110,821 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position overview

The Division of Student Administration and Academic Services (DSAAS) is within the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Portfolio. DSAAS is responsible for the administrative support of students through the student lifecycle, from admissions application, through to the completion of their studies and graduation. Activities of the Division includes admissions, general student enquiries, enrolment, class timetabling, program management, financial transactions, scholarship management, examination management, legislative compliance in relation to students including appeals, grievance, academic misconduct, discipline processes, curriculum management and the development and support of student systems. 

An opportunity exists for an individual to take a leading role in the development of optimal business process and IT solutions and projects that support the student services and administration functions of the Division and the University. These include undertaking student system projects, business and functional analysis, process improvements, training, testing and systems support. 

The successful applicant will possess excellent oral and written communication skill; be able to demonstrate a capacity for critical analysis, technical aptitude, attention to detail, a constructive approach to project work and change requests/management and the ability to work with competing deadlines in a dynamic service based environment. A proven ability to work effectively as a team is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of client based outcomes, be resourceful and show initiative to meet the University's needs
