(HEO3) $38,359 - $61,214 ($38,934 - $62,132 effective 2 March 2019) per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply.

This continuing 0.5 FTE position is available immediately.

First point of contact for students and staff.

Working under general direction the Assistant Student Advisor role is to respond to or triage first point of contact in-person, telephone and email enquiries from students and staff relating to program structure, study plans, enrolment and selection of courses, graduation, completions and academic progress.

To be successful you will need:

  • A relevant post-secondary qualification and/or extensive experience and/or education/training in relevant area.
  • Experience delivering high-quality customer services as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to liaise and interact with students and staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and service delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
