Overview
ECU has a fantastic contract opportunity for an experienced and motivated Finance Coordinator to join our dynamic finance team due to team growth.   

The finance teams deliver high quality financial management and business support to Schools and Service Centres including, but not limited to, assistance with compliance issues, management reports, budgeting and support in the development of research grant budgets. The Finance Coordinator’s role provides a range of accounting support services in delivery of the finance team’s objectives.  

Successful applicants will have a degree qualification in a relevant field with a major in Accounting (typically Business, Commerce or Management) OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation. Membership to a professional accounting body is preferred.  The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of accounting concepts, principles, practices and procedures, and of computer-based accounting systems (preferably Oracle Financials) and Microsoft Office, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a strong focus on customer service.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts the annual equivalent remuneration of $85,551 to $92,301 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
