  • Salary: $88,634 per annum (plus up to 17% superannuation)


About the Role

Reporting to the Campus Facilities Manager, you will play a key facilities role in maintaining effective support of teaching, research and community activities by managing the operational delivery of Facilities Services on campus, monitoring asset condition and informing future asset replacement projects and supporting maintenance and capital projects by resolving operational issues.

As the Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring on-campus Facilities Services are delivered safely, efficiently and effectively, and are aligned with the needs of key stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational delivery of contracted Facilities Services
  • Monitor the condition of all campus assets
  • Be the primary point of contact for on-campus maintenance and capital projects
  • Ensure all contractors are appropriately inducted and adhere to WHS obligations
  • Build and maintain effective communication channels, networks and relationships
  • Monitor team performance and maintain optimal service delivery standards

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Appropriate degree or equivalent skills and experience in a field related to facilities management
  • Knowledge and understanding of building services and legislative requirements
  • Extensive experience managing operational service delivery models
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and supervise multi-disciplinary teams
  • The ability to deliver high quality, responsive customer service and provide solutions
  • Skills in research and analysis of data and practical knowledge in financial management
