  • Base Salary $91,644 - $98,796 + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Facilities, Compliance and Project Officer provides support, assistance, and advice for the accurate completion of space audits, project/service requests, building access, projects, procurement, risk assessments, safety audits, Riskware incident and hazard investigations and other operational activities.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • support the development of a positive culture within the faculty with a key focus on facilitating and streamlining processes and ensuring that the faculty is compliant with regulations

  • oversee the day-to-day upkeep of the facilities within the faculty

  • conduct invoice processing and procurement activities

  • review and improve administrative processes among other tasks

  • play a key role in supporting faculty led initiatives and projects

About you

  • excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with a variety of matters

  • high level administrative skills including experience in establishing, monitoring, and reviewing administrative procedures

  • demonstrated ability to consolidate information and findings identified from data assessments and presents information and outcomes in a professional and useful business format with excellent attention to detail

  • highly developed project management and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to delivery within project timelines and improve service outcomes.

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
