Expressions of interest are now open for a secondment opportunity within the Adelaide University Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Student Experience & Administration Domain for a Project SME Manager: Student Support (HEO 8).

About the role 

The Project Subject Matter Expert (SME) Manager for the Student Support Work Package will provide support and coordination to the Work Package Leads across a variety of activities and deliverables. This will include the development of service models to support international students, students with disability and other student cohorts that are informed by best practice and benchmarking resources. Further work will include the development of a scalable academic learning support and skills development model which delivers high quality, inclusive and multi-modal learning activities, resources, spaces and initiatives to empower all students to engage and succeed over their academic career. Eventually this will lead to providing advice and recommendations on program delivery options, resourcing, and organisational structure. 

The successful candidate will be an SME in one or more of the following areas: Academic Learning Support, Access & Inclusion, Counselling, Wellbeing, or International Student Support (support for Aboriginal students will be a consideration, but some of this work will be undertaken as part of another Work Package with the understanding that there would be collaboration and co-design opportunities).

The Student Experience & Administration Domain is responsible for ensuring that Adelaide University is equipped with a full-range of student services, from enrolment and orientation to student support services and library functions, to completions and graduations.  The Domain activity aims to bring together the best of both the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia alongside innovative thinking and national and international best practice to deliver on the aim of Adelaide University being ranked in the top 5 in Australia for Student Experience.
