About the role

The Process Analysts will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis of business processes and systems to optimise operations and ensure compliance within the new Adelaide University.

The Process Analyst: Student Experience and Transition will be involved in the transition of staff and students, a significant project in the Integration Management Office (IMO). You will support the work of the SME Leads and Project Managers within the Student Experience & Administration domain and related areas. This will include analysing processes and systems, identify requirements and propose data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of large-scale student transition, systems and processes.

The Process Analyst: Timetabling will play a critical role that will support the work of the Project SME Manager: Timetabling. As an expert in timetabling, you will analyse processes and systems, identify requirements and propose data-driven solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, this role is responsible for overseeing system and process integrity within the timetabling sphere, promoting an understanding of processes, procedures, and timelines across the new Adelaide University. You will also be responsible for continuous improvement and data integrity and developing strong working relationships across the university.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • High level of organisational and administrative skills, preferably with experience in project management 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex information systems using a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to troubleshoot system related problems 
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to be innovative and creative in providing advice and generating solutions 
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes 
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including experience in developing and providing training

The SEA is responsible for ensuring that Adelaide University is equipped with a full-range of student services, from enrolment and orientation to student support services and library functions, to completions and graduations.  The Domain activity aims to bring together the best of both the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia alongside innovative thinking and national and international best practice to deliver on the aim of Adelaide University being ranked in the top 5 in Australia for Student Experience.
