Expressions of interest are now open for a secondment/fixed term contract opportunity within the Adelaide University Integration Management Office (IMO) for the Curriculum Domain for a Training Facilitator.

About the role

As the Training Facilitator you will be responsible for the development and delivery of internal training for university staff in the use of teaching technologies. This includes delivery of online and face-to-face workshops which will be contextualised to groups of varying size, audience and experience levels. You will also co-develop and maintain training materials to support training delivery including, but not limited to, lesson plans, guides, FAQs, and videos.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated Higher Education or Corporate Teaching/Training Experience (2-3 yrs preferred) 
  • Proven experience as an effective and engaging presenter, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to produce effective written communications such as: learning resources, project plans, reports, promotional materials, web content 
  • Experience in communicating technical information to a diverse range of audience, with varying levels of knowledge, ensuring a respectful and client-focused approach 
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, ability to use initiative, and manage competing priorities in an environment of constant change 

Desirable

  • Canvas Learning Management System, or similar learning management system 
  • Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
