Expressions of interest are now open for a secondment opportunity within the Adelaide University Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Market & Partner Engagement Domain for a Senior Project Officer: Events and Engagement.

About the role

As the Senior Project Officer: Events and Engagement you will be responsible for the coordination of successful onshore and offshore Adelaide University recruitment events and activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams both within The University of South Australia (UniSA) and The University of Adelaide (UoA), executing stakeholder engagement plans, and coordinating event logistics related to the launch of Adelaide University in the international and domestic markets.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in event management or a related field, and/ or extensive experience in a comparable events management role within a complex organisation
  • Exposure to and knowledge of international and/or domestic student recruitment practices, including experience in contributing to the delivery of large-scale promotional events or recruitment activities undertaken in cross-cultural settings
  • Demonstrated experience in writing reports and briefings for senior stakeholders, with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising event management or casual service staff
  • High level project management skills and exposure, including demonstrated ability to project manage large scale complex events and projects
