Expressions of interest is now open for a secondment opportunity within the Adelaide University Integration Management Office (IMO) in the Market & Partner Engagement Domain for a Digital Content Performance Specialist (HEO 7).

About the role 

As the Digital Content Performance Specialist (SEO), you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy across the new Adelaide University during the transition period. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams both within The University of South Australia (UniSA) and The University of Adelaide (UoA), and external partners to enable the development and execution of the SEO strategy across Adelaide University, with a key focus on Go to Market July 2024 deliverables.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support and drive the development of a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) strategy for each market and audience, including implementing this strategy across AU during transition period 
  • Drive a technical and content SEO strategy, in support of and with Information Technology, the Systems Integration Workstream, and core teams within M&PE, Curriculum, Student Experience and Administration and other areas as relevant 
  • Implement processes and ensure SEO quality assurance (QA) through content development and website development 
  • Prepare content templates for the new website (meta titles, keywords etc.) to ensure content is developed and inputted with SEO detail 
  • Support and deliver technical SEO activity through GTM build of website and digital platforms with DXP SI, partners and University teams 

Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Significant experience in managing, authoring and maintaining content management systems 
  • Experience in supporting the development of, and delivering and monitoring, SEO strategies for large websites, with proven business results 
  • Expert Knowledge in digital marketing content development, including content performance and search engine optimisation (SEO) principles 
  • A solid understanding of accessibility and Quality Assurance in web environments 
  • Experience in content strategy and optimisation in support of digital experience and performance
