Summary:

Applications for laboratory demonstrating (2023) are invited in chemistry at La Trobe University.

Work type: Casual

Location: Melbourne (Bundoora)

Duties at this level may include:

• Assist with the teaching of chemistry laboratory practical classes across undergraduate and/or coursework masters laboratory programs.
• Mark laboratory reports
• Conduct workshop classes
• Subject to experience and expertise, perform other duties as may be assigned by chemistry Laboratory Coordinators or Head of the Chemistry.

You will possess:

• At least BSc degree with a chemistry major; higher degrees in chemistry are desirable. 
• A commitment to (and experience in) teaching
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• An ability to manage a group of students
• An ability to work productively with others
• Good time management skills
• Basic software skills
