  • Commencement Salary: $65,766 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

The Administrator: People Central will work as part of the People Central team to deliver on UniSA’s people strategy by providing exceptional customer service, advice and support via multiple channels including phone, email, and digital channels, to staff and managers across the University.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for key people lifecycle events and processes including contract preparation, on-boarding and induction of new staff, staff movements, probation, absence management, non-paid appointments, position management, and end of employment
  • Monitor the workflow process to ensure staff are correctly setup on the HR system and relevant documentation has been provided to support onboarding
  • Assist with all records management across PTC including confidentially managing correspondence, filing and maintenance as required and monitoring review or training schedules to ensure they are met
  • Ensure that all employee lifecycle payroll instructions are prepared and submitted to Payroll Services in time for the fortnightly payroll run

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in human resources or a related area, or extensive equivalent experience gained within a complex multi-divisional business environment
  • Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering work to a high standard
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally, demonstrating professionalism and customer service with a diverse range of people and cultures
  • Proven team-oriented approach to work, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and coordinate information flows within the team and with other business areas
  • Demonstrated written communication skills including the ability to produce quality documentation, plans, templates, and reports
