Overview
The University is seeking to appoint an experienced, highly organised and professional Executive Officer providing support to senior executives with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated capacity for initiative and problem-solving.

Part of the cooperative and collaborative Chancellery Administration Support team, this exciting role provides highly professional, comprehensive and confidential executive and administrative support and assistance to the Senior Executives to fulfil their requirements and objectives for the University.

The Executive Officer also undertakes special projects as requested, including but not limited to, research and analysis, communications with stakeholders, progress monitoring and preparation of reports.

Key Criteria
To be successful you will have experience in a similar senior executive support role and will demonstrate:

  • A thorough understanding of, and excellence in, the practices, systems and procedures of providing executive support;
  • The ability to work in a confidential environment;
  • Excellent organisational skills;  and
  • The ability to exercise sound judgement and operate with tact and discretion.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry, Personal Excellence and Courage.

Benefits & Remuneration
This part-time, fixed-term position attracts a remuneration of 88,551 - $92,301 pa (HEW 6, paid in proportion to hours worked) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
