Job Description

Victoria University (VU) i s seeking an exceptional Executive Director, Business Intelligence to lead a team of data professionals ensuring VUs Business Intelligence functions are contemporary and efficient. 

The Executive Director, Business Intelligence will lead VU’s business intelligence strategy and data governance to drive a culture of evidence-based decision making. With passion and expertise, the Executive Director, Business Intelligence will be responsible for data governance, data integrity, master data management, data science and enterprise-wide business analytics.

This is a key leadership role which by building data capability within the University, decision-makers will be empowered to make informed strategic investments and operational decisions in a commercially sensitive and competitive environment.

Victoria University (VU) is seeking an exceptional Executive Director, Business Intelligence who will lead a team to ensure VUs Business Intelligence functions are contemporary and efficient. The role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

To be successful in this role, you will be a leader with a deep understanding of data management and best practice, as well as experience working with information systems and technologies. You will be able to think strategically and operationally, strong communication skills, be a natural collaborator and a skilled problem solver.
