About UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences 

In 2020 our newly structured UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences Academic Unit brought together programs encompassing Pharmacy, Nursing and Midwifery, Laboratory Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, and Nutrition and Food Science, and several leading research centres. Top 10 ranked in Australia for Pharmacy and Pharmacology, world Top 100 for Nursing, and well above world-class research in Biochemistry and Cell Biology, and Nutrition and Dietetics, the unit is addressing society’s most critical and emerging health needs through quality teaching, learning and research excellence.

About the Role

The Executive Dean: UniSA Clinical and Health Sciences is a senior staff appointment and leads a significant Academic Unit to realise the University's strategic intent. Responsible for the overall strategic direction, quality and performance of the Unit, the role leads the high-quality delivery of academic programs and research to ensure excellent graduate outcomes and enable impactful research and research training.

We seek a visionary and collaborative leader with an outstanding academic leadership record in research and teaching, and a national and international profile of scholarly achievement in a relevant discipline.  A credible track record of strategic and innovative leadership within a large and complex organisation, and experience developing and maintaining strong and sustained national and global partnerships are critical success factors.
