Your new role
  

As an Executive Assistant, you will be a highly trusted individual, able to work within a motivated and high-performing team, supporting the University’s Vice-Chancellor. You will provide comprehensive and proactive executive administrative support, and ensure the seamless continuity of the Vice-Chancellor’s activities. You will be responsible for the accurate and flexible diary management of a demanding and dynamic work schedule, including managing travel and accommodation bookings and itineraries.  In addition, you will act as the first point of contact for correspondence and visitors, and you will ensure the coordination of high-level meetings, functions, and events.

We are looking for someone with…

  • Proven experience as a Personal or Executive Assistant
  • High level of professionalism with a demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing tasks
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail, and ability to work to deadlines.
  • High proficiency in diary management and travel co-ordination across different time zones.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in an educational context will be highly regarded.
  • High standard of professional behaviour consistent with the University Code of Conduct and Vision, Mission, and Values.
