  • Commencement Salary: $71,205 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

As the Executive Assistant of UniSA Online you will be supporting the Executive Director and the Unit more broadly. The position is responsible for maintaining and improving key administrative systems and processes and providing a broad range of administrative and project support to facilitate the smooth running of UniSA Online.

About UniSA Online

UniSA Online was established as a key project as part of the University’s Digital Learning Strategy. UniSA Online offers fully online degrees purposely designed for study on demand, 24/7 student support and access to state of the art teaching and learning resources through an interactive online platform.

The UniSA Online unit, reporting to the Provost & Chief Academic Officer, delivers high quality, supportive, flexible and interactive online education for students and embodies the corporate values of innovation, client service and academic excellence.

The next phase of the UniSA Online project (2021-2023) is to work towards our strategic ambitions detailed in Enterprise25, to grow our online postgraduate programs and short courses and expand our reach to students based overseas.

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact and respond to any external queries on behalf of Executive team
  • Coordinate meeting arrangements and provide support to various committees and working parties
  • Undertake a range of administrative duties including complex diary management, room bookings, ordering and purchasing supplies and equipment, mail management and filing
  • Provide financial support such as coding invoices, requesting journal transfers and undertaking expense reconciliation
  • Provide project support for key Unit-wide initatives
  • Maintain and improve core administrative systems and record management practices
  • Coordinate the on-boarding of new staff members

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Post-secondary qualifications in a relevant discipline and experience in an administrative support role to a senior manager, work group or project team
  • Highly developed office administration skills, including proven ability to develop and maintain comprehensive administrative systems to manage information flow across the Unit
  • Demonstrated organisational ability and initiative including prioritising to meet tight deadlines and dealing successfully with competing demands in a pressured environment
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills including preparation of written materials and experience in liaising with people both internal and external to an organisation to deliver quality customer service
  • Highly developed digital literacy skills across the Microsoft Office suite
