The Opportunity

The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing executive-level administrative support and office management services to the Head of Department including diary/calendar management, arranging meetings, producing documents and facilitating communications and workflow. The position is responsible for facilitating effective communication flow between the Head of Department, staff and internal and external stakeholders and arranges and supports meetings, travel, preparation of documents and other administrative duties.

The Executive Assistant also works with the Department Manager and the Department Administrative Officer to assist with the coordination of cross-functional services and administrative tasks in relation to teaching delivery including timetabling and timesheet administration as required.

The Executive Assistant contributes to and implements continuous improvement activities to ensure best business practices within the Department and as a part of the Operational Services team. The position maintains excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
