About the opportunity
Data supporting research quality is provided by Research Reporting, Analysis, Data and Systems (RRADS), research data analysis group within the Research Portfolio. RRADS caters to every part of the data analysis pipeline. The Department is now seeking an ERA Data Officer to join their vibrant team.

The ERA Data Officer addresses routine matters linked to the provision of administrative and operational support for the research work being undertaken by the work area. The main purpose of this position is to assist with the capture, verification and cleansing of research outputs, for internal and external use including the Sydney Research Collection of traditional publications, Excellence in Research Australia and external ranking and benchmarking activities.

  • Experience working with a range of IT administration systems

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and numeracy skills in a high data volume environment

Candidates familiar with administrative functions in a University environment will be highly regarded.
