CSIRO's Information Management and Technology (IMT) Business Unit maintains an extensive array of services and a diverse range of technology platforms for CSIRO’s Business Units. Underpinning all the services IMT provide is a bold ambition for CSIRO staff to have seamless, secure access to tools, systems and processes that back the delivery of world class science.

Key to the success of the IMT strategy, the Architecture & Design team provide advice through consultancy with other business units as well as undertake thorough option analysis for initiatives across the organisation. The team develop architecture designs, build future roadmaps and facilitate architecture governance.

The Enterprise Architect– IT role will undertake and facilitate IT architecture design work across IMT’s technology portfolio and contribute to aligning with and defining the broader IMT roadmap. This role aims to be a key role in assisting the IMT Architecture & Design Manager in leading the development of future focussed blueprints and roadmaps for the primary technologies that underpin the systems that IMT provides the organisation.  

The Enterprise Architect - IT is responsible for providing System Architecture services to the CSIRO IMT business unit and collaborating the development and maintenance of technical designs.
