Climateworks Centre is an expert, independent adviser, acting as a bridge between research and action to accelerate the transition to net zero emissions for Australia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The Opportunity
With your outstanding stakeholder engagement and management skills you will provide a range of services to support Climateworks’ Sustainable Corporates portfolio. Primarily you will be supporting the Net Zero Momentum Tracker initiative, convening stakeholder groups to support collaboration, and other research and capacity building initiatives targeted at corporates in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. Taking a collaborative approach, you will work closely with the Sustainable Corporates Program Impact Manager and members of the broader Climateworks team.
Experienced at establishing networks and relationships, you will support design and implement a coordinated engagement strategy in order to effectively engage relevant stakeholders. This will include driving stakeholder mapping and targeted engagement at corporates in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Skilled at fostering collaboration, you will assist with drafting and developing project deliverables by ensuring adequate input, feedback and buy-in from target stakeholders. You will also work closely with Climateworks Centre’s Communications team to generate and disseminate communications materials based on project findings including reports, factsheets, briefings, traditional and digital media and presentations. As the Engagement Coordinator you will provide key support to the Sustainable Corporates team assisting to develop highly productive relationships to agree on and achieve change.
Excellent relationship building, communication and facilitation skills will underpin your role, including presenting information in a clear and compelling manner to a variety of audiences, especially policy makers, industry stakeholders and corporate audiences. You will also be responsible for managing stakeholder engagement processes and tools across the Sustainable Corporates team.
