The Position

The position is located at Siding Spring Observatory (SSO), which is one of two key sites for the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics (RSAA) in Australia. The site sits at the summit of Mt Woorut, NSW, and is set within the stunning National Heritage Listed Warrumbungle National Park, around 30 kilometres from the town of Coonabarabran, NSW.

In this Electronics Technician role, you will contribute to supporting high-quality research. Working in a small team environment, you will provide specialist support for electronic and electro-mechanical equipment and scientific instruments in support of telescope operations at the Observatory.
