Project Outline:

A potential research study investigating how patients with diabetes who are hospitalised for foot surgery sustained their foot ulcers. This is an interesting research idea because patients might not seek medical advice because they have no insight into their disease process. Financial implications of seeing a medical professional and the geographical location are determinants of the accessibility of care. This investigation will enable findings risks in the community, and then prevention efforts will target these risks.
