(HE07) $89,399 to $99,987 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation may apply.

Full-time continuing position starting immediately.

The Educational Policy and Compliance Officer assists in the development and maintenance of policies within the Division of the DVC&VP(A). The role provides policy advice and expertise, undertakes background research, drafts policies and procedures and monitors and identifies developments in the sector.

In addition, the role provides technical advice and expertise and proactively monitors and assesses the University's compliance with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 and the Higher Education Standards Framework 2021.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse, review and develop policies and procedures and proven experience in providing detailed policy advice.
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience in undertaking compliance assessment and quality assurance activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare written reports, procedures, papers and other documents as required that are clear and concise that convey technical and strategic advice.
  • Proven experience in project development and management.
  • Experience in synthesising large amounts of information, both qualitative and quantitative.
