The Opportunity

Monash University is seeking a dynamic and experienced Educational Technology Specialist to act as a subject-matter expert for current and emerging educational technologies within a world-class offering of supported technologies to the Monash community.

In the role, you will coordinate programmes of work related to these technologies, taking responsibility for their development and providing hands-on and consultative technical and pedagogic support, advice and guidance to academic and professional staff. You will coordinate programme activities from inception to evaluation, in order to meet targets for programme performance and the effective use of technologies at Monash as well as contributing to defining, scoping and requirements definition and prioritisation activities for new and existing technologies and technology-related projects.

We are looking for a candidate who is solution-oriented and has high-level expertise and experience with, one or more learning management systems and a wide range of other educational technologies. We are also looking for a candidate with demonstrated ability in project management with proven experience in implementing new programs, systems and processes with agreed standards and timeframes.
