About the Student Administration Services

Student Administration Services (SAS) provides support across the student and teaching lifecycles, from enrolments to graduation. Defined by two interconnected levels of service: the College SAS teams and the University-wide SAS teams, work collaboratively to deliver simple, timely, efficient, and innovative student administration services and advice to both students and staff.   

 
About the Role 

The Education Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role as a recognised subject matter on the planning and operational support in relation to education resources at the College level. In particular, the responsibilities will include, but not limited to; ongoing development of the university academic timetable, establishing priorities, collaborating closely with academic staff for the collection, interpretation, analysis, and data entry of teaching and specialists’ timetables. The Education Resources Coordinator will work to deliver high-quality services to both student and staff, promoting enhanced innovation business practices as part of an accomplished team.

In this position, you will also:

  • Actively participate in the ongoing improvements of systems, review and implement policies, procedures, and training packages.

  • Provide support to the Teaching Program Directors/Course Coordinators, maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, work collaboratively with college staff providing specialist timetable advice.

  • Understand best practices, client service culture and maintain positive and professional networks with university colleagues, Government, and external agencies.

About You 

With your proven understanding in scheduling, timetabling, you will be able to work independently, accurately showcasing your exceptional attention to detail. You will apply advanced thinking, planning and analytical skills, while building effective relationships for a wide range of stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Completion of a degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • Proficient in complex database systems, software, Microsoft Office suite, and continuous process improvement.
