About you
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in Early Childhood (approved by ACECQA), current NSW Teacher Accreditation and extensive experience with children aged 0-5 years, preferably in long day care or centre based care. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and excellent knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and/or My Time Our Place, Education and Care Services National Law, Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Framework.
About the Department
The Yarm Gwanga Preschool / Early Learning Centre and the Yarm Gwanga Vacation Care Service are the University¿s approved childcare centres, providing childcare services for the University and the wider local community. The Centre offers education and care services and programs within the National Quality Framework (NQF) and operates within a strict set of regulations contained within the Education and Care Services National Law. Yarm Gwanga is a long day care centre, employing approximately 20 appropriately qualified staff, and is licensed to care for 106 children between the ages of 8 weeks and 12 years.
