  • Remuneration: $90,916 to $102,545 pa (HEW5) (inclusive of $76,825 to $86,652 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

  • Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a eResearch Service Desk Officer to join Office of the Provost, Academic Division.

The position is a key position within eResearch team, which supports enquiries from QUT HDR student, researchers and staff. The role works with within a tiered service model, specialised knowledge across eResearch service and operational, focusing on services request and incidents raised via HEAT and Jira. The position will assist clients with interpretation of eResearch policies and procedures.

What you need to succeed

  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; completion of an associate diploma and at least two (2) years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interpret policies, procedures, and information to support the client experience.
  • Demonstrated client service skills in a high volume, fast paced environment including the ability to effectively escalate, prioritise and redirect enquiries, as necessary.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients.
  • High level of digital literacy including the ability to navigate multiple complex information systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive, and inclusive culture.
