Why Your Role Matters:
With the support of the Donor Relations Manager, the Donor Relations Officer has the exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the donor stewardship program. This role will play a key part in donor communications and nurturing relationships to encourage continued giving.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Donor Impact Report process including, drafting content, liaising with contractors, designers and providing regular status updates to management.
- Develop and refresh templates including proof reading, branding and compliance.
- Project manage the production of the Division’s Impact Newsletter.
- Manage the delivery of stewardship activities for the Scientia Circle.
- Help deliver the Division’s stewardship program activities.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Manage requests for donor stewardship information and draft briefing material for senior staff.
- Create and refine processes to monitor and evaluate the donor experience on an ongoing basis.
Who You Are:
- Tertiary level qualification with relevant work experience preferably in a university environment.
- High level verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management skills including the ability to review and refine processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive donor information and prepare and distribute written communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.
