About the team
Human Resources (HR) enables the University vision, strategy and objectives by partnering with the business to provide high quality strategic and operational people and culture support across the organisation. HR is responsible for providing efficient and fit for purpose organisational wide HR policy, process and systems and specialist advisory services covering culture, capability, talent, reward and employee relations.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Manager Organisational Development and Workforce Diversity, you will implement and imbed the University’s gender equity plans and related projects and initiatives, with a particular focus on the SAGE Athena Swan Action Plan. You will ensure projects are effectively initiated, scoped, and managed to deliver the planned objectives. You will also be responsible for supporting the University’s annual submission under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.

About you
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate relevant tertiary qualifications and substantial relevant experience in developing and executing organisation wide projects in gender equity, organisational development or a related field using appropriate project management methodology and systems to achieve the defined project outcomes. You will also demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant legislation (State and Commonwealth) including the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 and the Fair Work Act 2009.
