About the Role:

Working within a collaborative leadership team and reporting to the Chief Digital Officer and Executive Director Campus Services , this key leadership role within the Digital and Campus Services (DCS) portfolio will provide excellence in leadership and direction for Business Engagement and our Project Management Office and associated delivery teams


As the Director of Projects & Business Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing all aspects of project management and business engagement activities. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects and enhancements, as well as fostering strong relationships with key business stakeholders.

About You:

  • High degree of independent decision making as well as collaborative decision making in consultation with other leaders
  • Experience in leading, managing, and shaping high performance teams.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to achieve organisational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and monitor industry leading tools, techniques and practices in new ways of working for both continuous delivery and program/project delivery.
  • End to end delivery of significant digital transformation and related digital programs, projects and enhancements to achieve organisational objectives. 
  • Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies to ensure project and enhancement delivery success.
  • Experience in building and managing relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the executive team to align project and business engagement strategies with overall company goals.
  • Ability to drive profitability and margin improvement by improving operational efficiencies, process innovation, and continuous process improvement.
     

Conditions & Benefits:

This full-time position will be offered on a 3-year fixed term contract basis. A highly attractive remuneration package is on offer, including an employer superannuation contribution of up to 17%.
