About the Role
Swinburne University is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our ePMO team. As the Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of our enterprise-wide capital investment projects and programs, aligning with our ambitious strategic initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will have the opportunity to drive strategy execution by overseeing planning, prioritisation, governance, delivery, and performance analysis of our project portfolio. Your expertise in project best practices will be instrumental in helping us achieve our vision and deliver on our 2025 Strategic Plan.
As the Director ePMO, you will providehigh quality,evaluativethinkingandevidenceinformedanalysisandadvicetothe CFO,enabling the Executive Group and other governance committees and members to make effective decisions.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Relevantexperienceleading a corporate Project Services/PMO function.
- Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise-level program and project management disciplines, as well as product and technology development practices (Agile, etc.).
- Track record of introducing ’fit for purpose’ best practices for project management.
- Trackrecord of successfully managing a Project Services teamcomprisedofindividualsatvariouslevelsof Seniority.
- Experienceinalarge-scaleproject environment.
Qualifications
- A postgraduate degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training (Preferrable).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications including Information Technology, Business Administration and Management, Accounting, Computer Science and related business studies (essential).
- Formal training and certification in at least one recognised Project Management methodology discipline (e.g., Prince2) to Practitioner Level (essential).
