The Opportunity:

The Director Digital Learning is a newly created role and is responsible for leading a team of learning designers and developers committed to improving the digital learning experience for students within a dual sector University. This is a crucial role in leading the production of engaging, visually appealing, and effective learning resources and assets within a Learning Management System.

An example of duties you may perform will include:

  • Lead a production team to deliver digital learning resources for TAFE and HE students in partnership with multiple stakeholders including, SMEs, students, industry, teachers and academics.
  • Lead the implementation of Learning Management System enhancements and improvements that improve the student, teacher and academic experience.
  • Lead the learning design process of TAFE and HE courses for online and blended delivery with multiple stakeholders.

This full time role is being offered on continuing basis with a competitive salary plus 17% superannuation contribution together with other benefits and flexible working options.

About You:

You will have experience leading a highly talented product development team of learning professionals, designers and developers to deliver high-quality resources within agreed timeframes.  You will be highly skilled in curriculum and assessment design, pedagogy and andragogy with experience in the use of design thinking or human centred design methods, instructional design and agile project management with the client at the centre of the design and development process.
