Reporting directly to the Deputy Vice Chancellor for the Division, the strategic role of Director Corporate Relations is responsible for the delivery of corporate activities aimed at strategically enhancing institutional reputation and relationships, both with industry and government stakeholders. A key leadership position, you will be responsible for the cultivation of these relationships with key external stakeholders to enable the delivery of the University’s Industry Government Relations Strategy, overseeing the University’s Volunteer Program and the effective coordination of more than 3,000 volunteers. Establishing effective networks across the University, you will lead the existing Corporate Relations team, empowering them to execute operational plans, ensuring that the strategies are well positioned and in line with broader corporate requirements including future funding initiatives.
Being an experienced corporate affairs leader, you will have a proven track record of leading a high performing function in a large complex environment. With relevant tertiary qualifications, you will have experience across corporate affairs, business development, internal and external stakeholder engagements, media, government and community relations. Specific success in shifting culture, resetting business objectives and the ability to drive change is critical, with proven success translating strategic objectives into corporate and stakeholder relations plans.
