  • Commencement Salary: $71,205 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

The Digital Marketing Support Officer provides technical, project and maintenance support to the UniSA Online Marketing Team, with a focus on digital marketing activities for UniSA Online. As the Digital Marketing Support Officer, you will contribute to the creation of digital communication, developing and maintaining web presence and implementing digital marketing strategies and solutions. The role monitors and coordinates social media activity and produces a range of outbound digital communication.

You will have a passion for digital marketing and a willingness to be part of an ongoing team culture of customer service and continuous improvement, contributing to the delivery of world-class, multi-channel marketing strategies that build UniSA Online’s national presence.

About Communications and Marketing (CMK)

CMK’s role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities; internally, externally and internationally among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. The Unit plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution’s brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.

CMK is responsible for UniSA Online marketing and has a team located with the UniSA Online team, with specific responsibility for leading UniSA Online marketing activity.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of digital marketing solutions and applications for web, email marketing and media campaigns
  • Create and curate content across multiple digital and social media platforms adhering to the Universities brand and style guidelines
  • Provide digital and web services across a wide range of marketing communications activities
  • Provide advice on web and digital marketing applications in addition to generating reports for key stakeholders based on web performance and provide improvement recommendations
  • Assist in the production of digital templates and technical advice to stakeholders
  • Contribute to an ongoing team culture of customer service and continuous improvement

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in marketing, digital communications or a related discipline
  • Ability to develop and implement digital communications as part of integrated marketing campaigns for a diverse range of audiences
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in web development, web authoring, multimedia technologies and marketing automation
  • Understanding of web optimization and accessibility
  • Demonstrated high levels of organisation and administrative skills along with experience in working independently to tight deadlines
