  • Commencement Salary: $87,955 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role

Reporting to the UniSA Online Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Officer is responsible for optimising and implementing marketing automation campaigns, CRM improvements, paid search strategies and other digital tactics as part of UniSA Online’s national integrated marketing plan. 

This position will champion best practice techniques in this area, regularly evaluating performance and making data-led decisions to improve performance, maximise engagement and meet quarterly targets.

About Communications and Marketing

The Communications and Marketing Unit’s (CMK) role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance the understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities; internally, externally and internationally among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. The Unit plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution’s brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.
Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in a comparable role
  • Experience in developing and implementing digital communications, including paid and organic search as part of integrated marketing campaigns for a wide range of audiences
  • Experience in the development of best practice digital customer engagement and CRM marketing automation activities
  • Experience and skill in the use of web authoring and multimedia technologies, including understanding of web accessibility guidelines
  • High level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including the proven ability to successfully negotiate and interact with stakeholders, both within and external to the University
