Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced Digital Designer to join ANU Communications and Engagement (ACE). The Digital Designer will be a key visual communicator on campus and a creative resource for academic and professional staff, undertaking day-to-day operational activities including the development and delivery of visual concepts that inform, inspire and influence target audiences across printed and digital formats.

This visual-communications focused position plays a key role in the effort to tell great ANU stories, our content inspiration spans all disciplines, from archaeology to zoology, to the far reaches of the universe and deep under the earth's surface. The opportunities to tell incredible stories that matter, are limitless.

You'll work with an incredible team of storytellers, video producers, photographers, editors and social media strategists who need your creative input and energy. We make engaging content every day and are looking for someone that isn't afraid of deadlines and who is able to work both independently and as part of our interdisciplinary team.

You may have come from a digital, broadcast media or production house or agency environment and have excellent After-Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop skills. Video editing ability is highly desirable.
