(HEO7) $88,078 to $98,509 per annum plus an employer contribution of up to 17% superannuation will apply.

The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University.  The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement.  Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Full-time fixed term position for 3 years

The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) is a world-class research organisation within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, the University of Adelaide. The teaching and research programs offered through the Institute are underpinned by methodologies and methods that are recognised internationally. We have links to over 75 other centres, 7000 health care providers, 150 universities and research groups that apply and publish JBI methods.

In this role, you will use a range of skills to ensure the JBI user experience is world class. The Developer Programmer will be fully responsible for the development and maintenance of all JBI HTML Interfaces and dependent data streams and sources.

To be successful you will need:

  • At least 8 years of experience as a software developer particularly using HTML5/CSS3 and Javascript in a collaborative development environment.
  • At least 2 years experience deploying, managing and developing Drupal 8 and Twig templates.
  • Merging Git branches and resolving conflicts via git command line.
  • Working with the JIRA Application in an Agile work environment.
  • Well-developed communications skills: written and verbal with ability to write reports and technical documents describing projects.
