Your new role

We are currently seeking 2 x DevOps Engineers to join our team and be responsible for overseeing, and refining infrastructure solutions coded for peak reliability and performance. As vital contributors to the Curtin Digital & Technology Solutions team, you will undertake hands-on technical duties, streamline processes through automation, and tailor solutions to meet business demands. This role emphasises the adoption of essential DevOps methodologies such as continuous integration, delivery, microservices, and code-based infrastructure.
 
In this role, you will:

  • Implement and manage continuous integration, delivery, microservices, and infrastructure as code, with a focus on effective monitoring and collaboration.
  • Continually improve automation to increase speed, quality, scalability, and security of software delivery.
  • Engage in lifecycle management of systems and software, and oversee knowledge and configuration systems.
  • Adapt and operate processes to foster a strong DevOps culture and facilitate the transition to this mindset.
  • Identify and implement suitable release and deployment techniques and automation tools.
We are looking for someone with:                              
  • Combination of relevant qualifications and experience, including the following certifications: AWS Developer Associate, AWS DevOps Professional and/or relevant Cloud DevOps certifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeArtifact, Step Functions, Lambda, and Control Tower.
  • Well-developed communication (verbal, written) and interpersonal skills, a proven track record in and personal commitment to achieving the highest levels of client focus, along with proven ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as provide technical leadership and mentoring to fellow team members.

AWS multi-account environments

, understand

.NET Framework/Core

, are familiar with

NodeJS development

and have experience developing in a

Unix/Linux environment,

based at our Curtin Bentley campus
