Position overview

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) is seeking to appoint a Deputy Manager, Student Recruitment and Partnerships (National) as part of the CBE Student Recruitment and Partnerships Team to support the student recruitment goals of the College and University.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Deputy Manager, Student Recruitment and Partnerships (National) will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day provision of support and advice on strategic and operational marketing and recruitment aspects of domestic student recruitment.

This position plays a key role in developing and implementing marketing/ communication strategies and activities to recruit students into CBE programs at the University. To be effective in this role, you will need to have a sound understanding of effective marketing, communication and student recruitment strategies as well as the ability to build and develop strong relationships with relevant external stakeholders across a range of levels including high schools and other university entry channels, whilst working closely with the College and University Stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, understanding of the higher education sector and the ability to innovate and adapt in a dynamic environment and work across cultures and age groups.

The successful candidate is required to be flexible with their work schedule, having both the capacity and willingness to undertake frequent domestic travel and work outside of standard business hours 

This position is an engagement and outreach role, not recruitment in a Human Resources context.
