The University is now looking for a new Dean for its Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (MADA). MADA is an open, connected community of creative thinkers, makers and practitioners who dissolve boundaries between disciplines and who combine creativity with critical thinking. MADA’s students are the next generation of artists, designers and architects, equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to break new ground and forge meaningful careers across diverse creative fields.
MADA’s next Dean will be an exceptional leader, recognised as an authority in their subject or professional area and with an impressive record of success advancing excellence across MADA’s remit. Candidates will bring leadership experience gained at levels of complexity and scale befitting of the demands of the role, and a deep commitment to shaping future oriented education and research agendas. They will bring the personal presence, intellect, stamina and agility to drive the Faculty’s extensive breadth of activities across international campuses, ranging from shaping academic programs, supporting the faculty, staff and student experience, developing strategies and guiding complex operational tasks, to engaging in donor, alumni and other external relations.
