About the Office of Alumni and Advancement
The Alumni Relations team is committed to actively engaging our graduates in the life of the University through meaningful programs, benefits, services, and communications. The Alumni team also help facilitate class reunions, as well as provide opportunities for professional development, mentoring and presenting. The Advancement team initiate and develop fundraising activities for the University, due to the strong support from its community of donors.
About the Role
The Database and Gifts Processing Officer provides crucial support to the Alumni and Advancement team by contributing to sound data management and gift processing, under the supervision of the Senior Manager, Major Gifts and Advancement.
This role also consists of administrative duties including:
Providing administrative support to the Alumni and Advancement team.
Performing data entry into the client relationship management database to maintain data accuracy and support alumni and advancement engagement metrics.
Providing support for Alumni and Advancement events and activities, including virtual and face-to-face presentations, seminars, gala events, and stakeholder functions.
Processing gifts and preparing donor correspondence.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will have completed a Certificate IV with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. In addition, you have effective written and oral communication skills and exceptional experience in client relationship management database systems, preferably Raiser’s Edge. You have a sound ability to prioritise tasks and support various initiatives. Experience working in higher education is desirable.

A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the University will also be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
