Overview
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Data Engineer with excellent people skills to develop innovative solutions for various data and analytics requirements coming out of the City Campus project.  The successful applicant will have the opportunity to learn and work with ECU’s industry leading data warehouse and will be joining the team at an exciting time as we undertake a transformational project to migrate BI content from Tableau to Microsoft Fabric (Power BI).

Working proactively with stakeholders across the university, you will design, develop and support Data Engineering / BI Capabilities, in addition to defining, promoting and utilising the best practices for Data Engineering capabilities and information assets.  You will be required to work independently, but will also have the opportunity to work with the wider team and consultants on different initiatives.

The successful applicant will be required to provide a national police clearance.

Remuneration
This full time, 2 year, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $111,152 to $125,191 per annum plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
