Overview

The Western Australia Creative Tech Innovation Hub (WACTIH) is an exciting new across-industry collaboration funded by the Western Australian Government’s New Industries Fund. WACTIH will play a strategic leadership role influencing and promoting economic diversification and jobs growth within Western Australia’s regions with a focus on the South West. The WACTIH will focus on building partnerships between multiple creative digital industries including, gaming, experiential and immersive technology, software development, product design, advertising, film and media, digital content creation, photography, and screen production and post-production.

Operating under the broad direction of the Director (WACTIH), this is a unique and exciting opportunity to apply your exceptional senior program management; stakeholder engagement; well-developed interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and senior administrative skills (including financial, data analysis, management and reporting) to lead the delivery and completion of high impact to the community programs and events.  Applicants should also hold relevant experience to operate at a senior level with capability to act as Director at times and represent the Hub and ECU on senior industry committees. 

Please note this is a fixed-term contract with an expected end date of 30 June 2026 and is supported by external funding which may end earlier. If the project or funding ends the term of the employment will expire.  

Your Experience and Capability

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant creative industries or similar discipline OR equivalent level of expertise
  • Extensive applied experience in creative industries, arts or events management coordination and extensive program management experience at a senior level to effectively manage resources including financial, staffing, reporting
  • Extensive applied experience developing and managing complex and multi-stakeholder programs, including identifying and resolving issues, sourcing resources, managing risks, monitoring and reporting on progress to achieve desired outcomes
  • Proven track record and ability to investigate, identify and analyse problems, and their source causes and related issues, to generate alternatives, benefits and costs to develop practical solutions
  • Previous experience developing and managing strategic partnerships in a relevant creative industries or similar industry, and/or at a senior executive level.

This full time, fixed term contract position, based in Bunbury attracts remuneration of $93,378 - $104,628 plus 17% super
