About the position

The Coordinator Researcher Liaison supervises a team of 8 Senior Research Librarians. This position requires a collaborative, creative and critical thinker, able to mentor the team and coordinate the development and delivery of researcher support and outreach services and programs for all disciplines. They will provide expert advice for academics and graduate researchers based on researcher behaviours and information needs throughout the research life cycle. 

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

  • Qualifications in information management or a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training
  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills with successful experience in managing and leading staff to promote a cohesive and effective team and managing workflows
  • Demonstrated skills in research, evaluation or interpretation of data
  • Demonstrated experience in providing expert advice to researchers on a range of research related topics and understanding and knowledge of key issues for researchers in a university environment and the role of the library in supporting research processes and workflows
