About the Role

As the Coordinator: People Systems you will assist in the development of tools, models and frameworks for forecasting the University’s people needs, provide data for People, Talent and Culture (PTC) benchmarking activities, and configure access to Human Resource Information Systems. You will have close collaboration with your People, Data and Systems colleagues, working flexibly across the team to ensure service delivery, as well as PTC colleagues and teams in the Academic and Central Administrative Support Units.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of online administration tools using HR Information Systems and other workflow systems
  • Develop, test, and implement standard reports from the HR Information Systems using IBM Cognos to support operational activities and reporting requirements
  • Manage access to the HR Information Systems as required, ensuring system security is appropriately granted within audit requirements
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for reports and data from the HR Information Systems
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and demonstrate best practice service delivery and continuous improvement

Essential Skills and Experience
  • Experience with the use of human resource information systems, including understanding of system configuration, system administration support, identification of system problems and testing of system upgrades
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and delivering successful outcomes
  • Experience in developing standard reports using Cognos or equivalent report writer tools
  • Understanding of the rules, regulations, processes and techniques of payroll, superannuation and salary sacrifice
