  • Part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed term contract until 31 December 2024 based in Allied Health and Human Performance at the City East campus
  • Commencement Salary: $82,077 pro rata per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

About the Role

This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating all associated activities relating to the Pain Revolution’s Local Pain Educator program as well as other projects within the Innovation, Implementation & Clinical Translation in Health (iIMPACT) research concentration. The position is the primary contact for the Pain Revolution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, lead and manage the Pain Revolution projects ensuring high levels of work performance and completion of project deliverables within agreed timeframes, quality standards and budget
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan relating to the LPE program for multi-jurisdiction / national delivery, in consultation with the Chair
  • Represent and negotiate on behalf of Pain Revolution with internal and external partner organisations
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders


Essential Skills and Experience

  • An understanding of pain science curricula and the scientific and evidence base of the Pain Revolution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop clear project plans and timelines, monitor and report on project progress within budget and required standards together with a high attention to detail
  • Highly developed written communication skills and experience in preparing documentation for distribution across a variety of audience and stakeholders
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or demonstrated equivalent experience, knowledge and skills in project management, event design, communications and / or health related curriculum development and implementation
