  • Commencement Salary: $92,941 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)


About the Role  

Do you thrive on coordinating a busy communications team? UniSA is looking for a highly organised communicator to take on some of the University’s most creative production challenges! 

As the Coordinator: Creative Services you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the development of on-brand digital and print-based marketing solutions by coordinating design, content development, writing, editorial and photography. You will also provide quality control and management of external supplier relationships, including printers, agency partners and distribution channels. 

In addition, this position provides high-level advice to the Communications and Marketing Unit’s Management team and works collaboratively across the University to coordinate, advise and assist in the production of marketing materials.

About the Communications and Marketing Unit 

The Communications and Marketing Unit’s role is to raise the profile of UniSA and enhance the understanding and recognition of its strengths and diversities; internally, externally and internationally among key target groups including staff, students, graduates, prospective students, government, media, business, professions, other educational bodies and the wider community. The Unit plays a critical role in contributing to the growth of the institution’s brand and profile, as well as delivery of the University strategic action plan.

Core Responsibilities  

  • Maintain a detailed resource and operational plan that outlines the range of marketing materials to be produced 
  • Review and assess publications and marketing outputs for their effectiveness and suitability for target audiences 
  • Provide leadership and advice on the University’s brand and style standards maintaining a strong and consistent corporate image and University profile 
  • Provide a specialist consultancy service to areas across CMK and the University 

Essential Skills and Experience  
  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, writing, graphic design, visual communications, communications or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience 
  • Demonstrated experience in conceiving and implementing new creative print, design and content solutions to support business outcomes 
  • Experience in conceiving and implementing new creative print, design and content solutions to support business outcomes 
  • Proven ability to oversee the operational workflow of others while maintaining a collaborative team-based work environment
