About the position

The Coordinator, Campus Safety & Systems coordinates the delivery of a safe and protected campus with buildings, facilities and grounds operations (specifically related to electronic and physical security systems) to successfully maintain and achieve University standards and goals.

Some of the duties at this level will include applying theoretical knowledge and policy expertise to bring together diverse and sometimes conflicting information to solve new or one off problems, monitoring, reviewing and developing procedures in own functional area and anticipating customer needs/requests, identifying opportunities and facilitating change management.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have

• An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 2 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, checklist for all facets of control room
• Develop , conduct, and improve the Safety and Security audit regime  (iauditor)
• Coordinate the installation and implementation of security systems, including access control, CCTV , keys and other relevant technology
